Above the Law. Marked for Death
. Under Siege. These were actual movies, and good movies at that. The time was the late 1980s and early 1990s. Steven Seagal had burst onto the Hollywood scene with a fresh, brash brand of action film that was, for the most part, embraced by the masses. Fast forward 10 years. Seagal is fat, out of shape, and exuding all the charm and charisma of a poached salmon. That can mean only one thing—exile to the straight-to-video shelves. Fortunately for us (or perhaps unfortunately), Seagal is in denial regarding his near-staggering lack of appeal at this stage of his career and continues to pump out movies at the rate of nearly one per month. Luckily for you, we’re here to fall on the grenade. So in honor of a man who apparently has no shame but plenty of outstanding bills, we at Straight-to-Video Scoop hereby open the Steven Seagal Gallery of this site. Enter at your own risk.
